IDP Forecast: Week 7 & more Start 'em Sit 'em sites

Greetings, IDP fans. That would be individual defensive players for those who are new to the world of non-team D/STs in fantasy leagues. Let's jump right in and take a look at some potential IDP all-stars for Week 7.
  • A new IDP site - excellent! I found this thanks to Yardbarker and am quite pleased with what I see here. So check out Fantasy Insider Online's Week 7 IDP Roundup.
  • Fantasy Sharks' The Hive - Week 7 edition - I'm holding out hope that Osi will have an awesome week against Trent Dilfer. Osi's two tackles last week just didn't really do it for me.
  • CBS Sports' Witness for the Defense - Week 7
  • Okay, I'm not going to take credit for this or anything since it's a wide, wide www out there, but perhaps my commentary over the past few weeks on how unhelpful it was to just have IDP superstars in FF Toolbox's IDP article made an impact. FF Toolbox has switched their IDP format and are now doing IDP Sleepers - that's what I'm talking about! Thanks, FF Toolbox - so read on for some solid advice on lesser known IDPs.
  • FFToday's IDP Notes: Week 7 - I had Karlos Dansby on one of my teams and have been searching for a replacement now that Karlos is out with a knee injury. Bummer.
And now back to start and bench suggestions - a few more have cropped up over the past 24 hours, so check out these sites below:
  • CBS Sports' Week 7 Start 'em Sit 'em - here's someone else who says start Coles and bench Dallas Clark...hmm, perhaps I need to revise my advice to my husband to start Clark over Coles.
  • NFL's Start 'em Sit 'em: Week 7 - aha! Michael Fabiano is in my Dallas Clark camp...
  • NFL Guru's Start 'em & Sit 'em - Week 7 - I am playing in a Blogger league with the NFL Guru and let's just say he's leading the league handily - he is 6-0 and has 100 more points than anyone else in the league. I think we can all safely assume this guy really is a guru.

Labor Day FF links

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. So like many of you I'm now turning my attention to the Week 1 games! But before we get to some player rankings and prep for Week 1, I want to make sure that all you experts out there are aware of the upcoming deadline for the annual accuracy contest that I run with the Fantasy Sports Trade Association. I compare preseason positional rankings from experts to the final outcome of the fantasy season to see which site had the most accurate preseason rankings, and this year's deadline is fast approaching: September 9th by kickoff. Check out the info on the FSTA site for more details and be sure to e-mail me your submissions. Now, onto Week 1! First up, let's get to some of this...

2010 Week 2 consensus start/sit

Greetings and happy weekend. I've got this week's consensus start/sit for you which is a tally of all the start/sit votes that players received in the various start/sit articles that I linked to earlier in the week. A hiatus

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. This has been an almost surreal and definitely heartbreaking experience and I appreciate the support in each and every one of your notes. Caroline will be honored and loved always. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughts and prayers - they mean the world to our family. I have been a very poor blogger this month and feel I owe you all an explanation, particularly as this is crunch time for draft prep. I hope this is not too personal of a look into my life since I know most of you are just here for the football. I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and we have learned that our baby (a little girl!) has triploidy, a chromosomal abnormality that means she has three copies of every chromosome instead of the normal two. The doctors have explained that it's a completely random occurrence and fairly rare that she has made it this far along, but tha...
