Who doesn't bowl better to "Here I Go Again"?

Hi fantasy friends - I'm about to head off to my bowling league for the night where I swear I play better when the jukebox is rocking out some Whitesnake, but first I wanted to post a couple of FFLibrarian-related afternoon links for you. My daily blog with FantasyPlayers.com is up, No Bull From the Fantasy Librarian, where I discuss my crazy sister and of course more football links with advice on sleepers, busts and who's hot for Week 6.

And my weekly A Librarian's Touch column with the Bruno Boys is up - Which Top 10 Running Backs will remain strong in 2008? I looked at the top 10 RBs at this point one year ago compared to the top ten at the end of the 2007 season - 7 of the 10 were already set at this point last year. While I'm sure that number varies year to year, I looked at which 3 RBs I don't think will make the top 10 cut come January.

I've found that I bowl better when the music is good as well. This summer I sucked through two whole games of Michael Bolton or something similar, complaining the entire way. Only to finally come alive thanks to some much needed Zeppelin.

In reference to the "No Bull" article...I'm pretty sure Chad Pennington went to Marshall as in therefore not a "former Vol" as you mentioned. Keep up the good work!!!

during many nights of drunkin bowling back in college i have determined that AC/DC is the best bowling music with Hell's Bells being the best overall bowling song...this is a proven fact!

Oh man, thanks for catching my Pennington mistake, anon. I should've known that Pennington is a Knoxville native, not a former Vol. My apologies to Marshall fans, Pennington fans and Knoxvillians everywhere who knew how terribly wrong I was...

As for the start questions...
1. In the flex I would go with Graham; RBs are usually a good call but I think SF has a decent pass defense and if Colston is back in the mix, Moore might have a more (ha) limited week.

2. I'd go with Jackson, Gore and Williams in the flex (though I could be talked into Graham very easily) and Fitz and White at WR.

I won't bowl unless Strawberry Alarm Clock is playing. I'll stand there holding my bowling ball staring at the pins and absolutely refuse to roll otherwise.

A hiatus

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. This has been an almost surreal and definitely heartbreaking experience and I appreciate the support in each and every one of your notes. Caroline will be honored and loved always. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughts and prayers - they mean the world to our family. I have been a very poor blogger this month and feel I owe you all an explanation, particularly as this is crunch time for draft prep. I hope this is not too personal of a look into my life since I know most of you are just here for the football. I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and we have learned that our baby (a little girl!) has triploidy, a chromosomal abnormality that means she has three copies of every chromosome instead of the normal two.
