Well sometimes things really don't go as planned. Our car broke down yesterday as we were cruising along highway 81 in Virginia heading from Knoxville back up to DC on the next leg of our travels. Small disaster. We were towed off the interstate exit ramp and found a mechanic who can replace the clutch (we're hoping that's all that's wrong with it) by lunch today. So after my mind kept going cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching as I thought of how our plan to save money was actually backfiring on us, we found a crappy motel and holed up there, drinking beer and watching MNF. Could be worse, right? But right now I should be heading back home to NYC but instead we are sitting in a motel room in a small town in SW Virginia, trying to see how long we can milk a late check-out before we have to take refuge in a nearby Waffle House. Sigh.
So I had big plans for this post to unveil the winner of the 96-team monster FFLibrarian League, but I think I'm going to save that for later this week when I have a bit more time to digest it all. Same goes for my push on the FFLibrarian Playoff Challenge league, but either click that link or send me an e-mail if you'd like to participate (password: librarian).
Onto today's links...

Onto today's links...
- First up, some waiver wire links (can you believe how many sites are still cranking out suggestions for those of us playing in Week 17?!):
- Hatty Waiver Wire Guru's last video of the season with waiver wire suggestions
- The Hazean's Early Week 17 Waiver Wire Thoughts
- Fanhouse's Waiver Wire Wonders: Bring it Home
- FootballDocs' Waiver Wire
- KFFL.com's Waiver Wire by position - links to QBs
- FFManiaxs' Week 17 Waiver Wire
- NFL.com's Brown, Foster will be very hot names off the fantasy waiver wire
- Rotoworld's Cutler's New Man? has a good look at last night's game - what a great finish to an otherwise kind of boring game - and some other news and notes from around the league.
- Roto Arcade's look at Matt Moore has me thinking about his value long term and even his potential for Week 17 - the article includes other good notes on players, too. Also, I'm wondering what will happen to Ward next season. Will he stay in TB despite the Caddy resurgence?
- SI's Fantasy Clicks focuses in on 20 things we should remember on draft day for the 2010 season. Definitely an interesting read and some good thoughts for Week 17, too.

Sounds like you made the best of a crappy situation.
Thanks for the great website; it definitely helped me get perspective on my FF decisions and I did well in all my leagues (I won two leagues, playoffs in 6 of 7). It will be in my toolkit for next year. I'd like to tell others about it but I don't like telling my competitors my info. Hehe. It's ironic because the website is on the internet. Anyhow. Happy New Year.
