Vegas & Miami, what could be better?

Well I've got my Super Bowl tickets, hotel room, and flight down to Miami all set - seriously, could I be more excited? Another huge thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings for this incredible grand prize for winning their All-Star Blogger League. As more details emerge, I'll be sharing them on the BWW league site - so be sure to check back for details and tales from South Florida.

In the meantime, I'll be heading to Las Vegas in about 10 days for the Fantasy Sports Trade Association annual conference. I know, I'm living such a charmed life right now. If any of you FF experts out there are going to be in Vegas for the conference and want to grab a drink, let me know! I've already roped Marc from the Bruno Boys into keeping me company.

And if you don't drink...there is no better root beer than Abita Root Beer. Hard to iind, but well worth having it shipped from New Orleans!

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. A hiatus

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. This has been an almost surreal and definitely heartbreaking experience and I appreciate the support in each and every one of your notes. Caroline will be honored and loved always. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughts and prayers - they mean the world to our family. I have been a very poor blogger this month and feel I owe you all an explanation, particularly as this is crunch time for draft prep. I hope this is not too personal of a look into my life since I know most of you are just here for the football. I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and we have learned that our baby (a little girl!) has triploidy, a chromosomal abnormality that means she has three copies of every chromosome instead of the normal two.
