Consensus start/sit Week 3

If you're new to the consensus start/sit list I do, just a reminder that it's basically a tally of all the start/sit votes that players get in the various start/sit articles that I link to throughout the week. The players are listed in no particular order and should always be considered in the context of your individual team and options. Good luck this week!

I gotta start Eli or Matt Ryan this week and they both are recommended sits.....I think I will start Ryan as he might have to throw more to keep up with the saints.

I'm sitting Flacco in favor of Kyle Orton this week. Flacco has a lot to prove right now. I don't buy him as a matchup play. I think Rice and McGahee score all the points. Flacco goes for 220 yds and 1 INT.

Hilarious how everyone is singing the praises of the Titans pass defense. They've faced Campbell and Dixon/Batch. I'm not even sure if they could be classified as average.

Hey Anonymous,

The point was that they're only number one because of who they've played. If you had read my post properly and/or completely you would realize that I'm telling Mike from WI that I would not start Matt Ryan. Instead start Eli against the Titans.

Takes a strong person to hate on a comment coming from "Anonymous"

BTW, how'd you do on the reading comp portion of the SAT?

Anon - my standard CBS league has Finley pegged for 11 points tonight and Driver for 10, and both have been successful so far this year (Chicago has been TE-friendly - and Driver has had TDs in Weeks 1 and 2), so here's hoping you're all set for a W tonight. Only one way to find out...enjoy the game!

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. A hiatus

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. This has been an almost surreal and definitely heartbreaking experience and I appreciate the support in each and every one of your notes. Caroline will be honored and loved always. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughts and prayers - they mean the world to our family. I have been a very poor blogger this month and feel I owe you all an explanation, particularly as this is crunch time for draft prep. I hope this is not too personal of a look into my life since I know most of you are just here for the football. I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and we have learned that our baby (a little girl!) has triploidy, a chromosomal abnormality that means she has three copies of every chromosome instead of the normal two. The doctors have explained that it's a completely random occurrence and fairly rare that she has made it this far along, but tha
