I'd definitely go with Mike Williams of Tampa Bay.

I've got a WR quandry of my own. Start 2 WRs (non-PPR): R. Wayne (@ TAM), M. Manningham (@ ARI), P. Harvin (@ KAN), S. Rice (v ATL)?

Sara has Harvin and Rice on her consensus start list (a feature that I love, BTW). Wayne and Manningham have been inconsistent and injured, respectively, but have higher upsides.

Thanks, I'm still leaning toward Torrey Smith. Williams hasn't been great thus far, and with Boldin on Revis Island, I could see Smith get some big targets... but obviously, I'm still questioning the move.

I like Rice and Manningham personally. I'm not convinced of the QB situation in Minnesota.

If it were me, I'd go with Harvin and Manningham. Chiefs and Cardinals secondaries stink. Answering the other question, I say Williams. Rex Ryan has said he's game planning for Smith.

Here is a question for my flex spot in a standard scoring, non PPR league:

Shonne Greene, Ben Tate, Robert Meachem, or Stevan Ridley?

Thanks for the advice Anonymous and Perplexed. I think I'm gonna go the lousy secondary route and play Manningham and Harvin.

As for Perplexed's flex decision, I'd go with Meachem, who has a TD in every game so far.

I usually prefer RBs in the flex slot, if possible. But Sara listed Greene as a consensus sit, Foster was named the starter ahead of Tate, and is Ridley really trustworthy after just six good carries in one game?

Hey FFLibrarian I would like to say that I like your blog and your advice. I also have some of the same players on my start em sit this week Such as Jason Campbell, Hightower and Starks on my Starts and Flacco Hasselbeck on my sits.

Hightower is killing me! Please don't tell me Ryan Torain is coming in to spoil my season. I should never draft a RB that plays for Shanahan. Rookie mistake.

I, like all the experts, sat Gore. Fox's early reports was that he was inactive...apparently no one told Gore he wasn't supposed to do well!!!

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. A hiatus

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. This has been an almost surreal and definitely heartbreaking experience and I appreciate the support in each and every one of your notes. Caroline will be honored and loved always. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughts and prayers - they mean the world to our family. I have been a very poor blogger this month and feel I owe you all an explanation, particularly as this is crunch time for draft prep. I hope this is not too personal of a look into my life since I know most of you are just here for the football. I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and we have learned that our baby (a little girl!) has triploidy, a chromosomal abnormality that means she has three copies of every chromosome instead of the normal two. The doctors have explained that it's a completely random occurrence and fairly rare that she has made it this far along, but tha
