Waiver wire advice for Week 5

One of my closest friends for the past 25 years finally is playing in her first fantasy football league this season with her extended family and - apologies, dear friend - she is clueless. So I'm stepping in and giving her an assist for the rest of the season. "We" played her husband this past weekend and unfortunately Devonta Freeman's 3 TD extravaganza was just too much for us to overcome. Going to have to turn things around big time for the next matchup. I'm headed to the waiver wire to see what kind of magic I can perform on her team. So on that note, off to the waiver advice:
Finally, let's just all bask in the fact that my Northwestern Wildcats are 5-0, baby. 5 and 0. BOOM.

Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. A hiatus

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. This has been an almost surreal and definitely heartbreaking experience and I appreciate the support in each and every one of your notes. Caroline will be honored and loved always. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughts and prayers - they mean the world to our family. I have been a very poor blogger this month and feel I owe you all an explanation, particularly as this is crunch time for draft prep. I hope this is not too personal of a look into my life since I know most of you are just here for the football. I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and we have learned that our baby (a little girl!) has triploidy, a chromosomal abnormality that means she has three copies of every chromosome instead of the normal two. The doctors have explained that it's a completely random occurrence and fairly rare that she has made it this far along, but tha
