FFLibrarian Monster League

It's that time of year - the FFLibrarian Monster League is open for business. I've shrunk the league down to 60 teams (instead of 72) this year to make things more manageable (that seems to be a theme for me...), but we still have a handful of open spots. For those who need the lowdown: there are 5 conferences, each with its own draft; you primarily compete within that conference for the season, but in the final weeks, the winners of each conference are pitted against each other for the grand Monster League Winner. The winner is crowned with glory and a prize from me: access to your FF resource of choice (FantasyPros, FootballGuys, etc) for the following season. On that note, congrats to PT Bruisers, the 2015 league champ.

UPDATE: SPOTS FILLED. For the first time in years and years, I think I might actually participate in the league, too, which I'm looking forward to a great deal. Happy long weekend! Here's hoping most of you are free to enjoy the 3-day weekend and the relaxation and fun that comes with it. I spent my Sunday participating in 3 fantasy football drafts scattered throughout the day and night, but I think I've finally wrapped up my drafts for the year. So like many of you I'm now turning my attention to the Week 1 games! A hiatus

Update:  It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you all that yesterday, August 30th, I delivered our stillborn daughter, Caroline Mary. This has been an almost surreal and definitely heartbreaking experience and I appreciate the support in each and every one of your notes. Caroline will be honored and loved always. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughts and prayers - they mean the world to our family. I have been a very poor blogger this month and feel I owe you all an explanation, particularly as this is crunch time for draft prep. I hope this is not too personal of a look into my life since I know most of you are just here for the football. I am nearly 18 weeks pregnant and we have learned that our baby (a little girl!) has triploidy, a chromosomal abnormality that means she has three copies of every chromosome instead of the normal two. The doctors have explained that it's a completely random occurrence and fairly rare that she has made it this far along, but tha
